Round 1
A shot catches Bowen off balance and off guard. Adenauer grabs him by the waist, lifts him, swings him through and slams him into the ground. Bowen tries to scramble and manages half guard. Dillon hits an upward elbow on Adenauer, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Adenauer takes side control. "The Angler" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Dillon Bowen gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Berthold spins around to take it, Dillon Bowen makes his way back to his feet. Dillon is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Berthold Adenauer falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Bowen is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from Berthold while utilizing the guard. "The Angler" locks a kimura but Bowen is too strong and he cannot finish it. He settles for a couple shots to Bowens face. Bowen connects with several chop shots from the bottom.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Berthold Adenauer rushes in grabbing an overhook. He then shoots his opposite arm beneath the overhook, falls back and tumbles, cartwheeling Dillon through the air with a beautiful japanese whizzer and takes side control. Berthold Adenauer slides his knee across the body of Bowen and takes full mount. Dillon shifts his head and hips to keep Adenauer off balance and unable to land strikes. Dillon Bowen gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "The Angler" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Berthold tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Berthold Adenauer fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Dillon Bowen. "The Angler" gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Adenauer escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Dillon Bowen grabs for a clinch but Berthold Adenauer grazes him with an uppercut. Dillon Bowen staggers back, then surprises Berthold Adenauer with a powerful superman punch. Berthold Adenauer parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Bowen takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Dillon Bowen presses forward and grazes "The Angler" with a combo. "The Angler" wants none of the stand up and clinches with Dillon Bowen to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Berthold Adenauer lays into Dillon Bowen with some stomps. Dillon Bowen can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
