Round 1 Alvarez grabs for a clinch but Oticica grazes him with an uppercut. Alvarez staggers back, then surprises Oticica with a powerful superman punch. Alvarez Ortega strikes with a straight front kick. Murilo Oticicas legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Murilo Oticica parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Alvarez tries to hyperextend the knee of Oticica with a kick to the kneecap. Oticica hops back to avoid it. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ortega circles Murilo Oticica, landing jabs at will. After dodging a jab-cross, Murilo Oticica lands a kick to the liver of Alvarez who steps back and begins to take a knee. Murilo Oticica rushes forward to capitalize but Alvarez stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Oticica connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Ortega who falls to the ground. Oticica waves him back to his feet. Alvarez pummels Oticica with a series of rapid fire fists. Ortega is cornered by Murilo who tries to press the action. Ortega is able to block well and circles away from Murilo, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Murilo lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Oticica lands a double jab. A roundhouse is dodged by Alvarez Ortega who tries to capitalize. Murilo follows his momentum and lands a spinning side kick that catch Alvarez Ortega in the belly. Alvarez eats a stiff kick to the face. Oticica strikes with a straight front kick. Oticica chips away at Alvarez with a series of kicks to the legs. Murilo lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Ortega circling away.
