Round 1 Chatchai connects with a hard punch making Bouchard bring him in to a tight clinch. Chatchai Photirat begins to thrust his shoulder in the face of Bouchard. Chatchai breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. A lazy leg kick from Elix Bouchard is caught by Chatchai who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Elix Bouchard. Chatchai drops a huge strike to Elixs chin, landing into his guard. Elix backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Chatchai Photirat shoots a takedown from a distance putting Bouchard on the ground. Bouchard shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Chop shots lands on Photirats face but he lowers his head, pushes his hand through Elixs guard and chucks him to his side. Photirat moves to side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Elix Bouchard narrowly dodges a cross from Chatchai, but falls catching him in his guard. Elix Bouchard attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Photirat is too quick and takes half guard. Chatchai slams his knee into Bouchards ribs. Bouchard snatches a kimura lock but Chatchai Photirat spins around quickly to the other side holding dominant side control. Photirat wraps the arm of Elix Bouchard behind his back and traps it. Photirat pounds away with shots to the face. Elix Bouchard almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Photirat shoots but Elix Bouchard stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. Elix throws his knee into the ribs of Chatchai. Bouchard drops some good elbows to the face of Photirat forcing him to give up his back. Chatchai Photirat starts to wiggle out of back control, Bouchard lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Chatchai Photirat but Elix is able to muscle through for a takedown, finishing in half guard. Bouchard is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Photirat gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Photirat starts to wiggle out of back control, Elix lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The fighters circle each other. Photirat catches a kick from Elix and drops down for a leg lock. Elix attempts to spin out of it but the lock is still tight. Photirat moves to a heel hook. Elix fights through the attempt and moves to side control. Chatchai takes a few knees to the body while under Elixs side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
