Round 1 Jo Gruber sends Goodman to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Tank Goodman begins to posture on his side. "The Rock" lands a couple of outside hooks and Tank Goodman returns to the guard. Tank Goodman moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. Goodman throws a push kick. Jo Gruber shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Tank Goodmans nose.
Goodman throws a cross that easily dodged by Gruber. Goodman takes a punch and goes to the mat, Gruber pounces into side control. Goodman recovers quickly. "No nickname" almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Tank Goodman gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Goodman connects with a jab cross combination. Jo connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Goodman. "The Rock" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Tank Goodman. Goodman takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Jo Gruber takes down Goodman, but remains standing over him. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "The Rock" throws a push kick. Goodman shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Grubers nose.
Tank Goodman sends Jo to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Tank pulls out of the guard of Jo, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Jo. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up "The Rocks" guard and Tank Goodman is able to move to half guard. "The Rock" holds the head of Goodman close to avoid shots. Goodman slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. "No nickname" slips out of half guard and into side control. Jo gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "The Rock" starts to wiggle out of back control, Tank Goodman lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Goodman grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Jo. Round 3 is over.
