Round 1 Berry throws a hard jab but Duane Peterson throws a cross right over the top that knocks Berry to the ground. "Kamala" stands over "Kane", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Kane" is able to grab an arm and pull "Kamala" into his guard. Dexter begins to posture on his side. "Kamala" lands a couple of outside hooks and Dexter returns to the guard. Duane Peterson takes advantage of a mental laps from Dexter Berry and moves into full mount. Duane punishes Dexter Berry with a series of strikes from the mount. Dexter gets pummeled by the fists of Peterson. Dexter gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. "Kamala" begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Dexter Berry rolls to being mounted instead. "Kane" gets pummeled by the fists of Duane Peterson. Round 2 "Kamala" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Kane" connects with a hard punch making "Kamala" bring him in to a tight clinch. Dexter takes the back of Peterson who works for a kimura. Dexter pulls his arm out of the hold and push Peterson away. "Kane" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Kane" executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. Peterson is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. A kimura attempt from Duane is countered by a punch from "Kane", who then transitions to half guard. Duane snatches a kimura lock but Berry spins around quickly to the other side holding dominant side control. Dexter wraps the arm of Duane behind his back and traps it. Dexter pounds away with shots to the face. Duane Peterson is hit with a heavy knee to the liver and tries to scramble out of side control. Dexter scrambles well and takes "Kamalas" back. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A couple of powerful body shots forces Duane Peterson back to the cage. Berry swims to double underhooks. Duane Peterson cannot stop Berry from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Berry is caught in a tight body triangle but lands some hard punches that force Duane to loosen his guard and create distance. "Kane" tries to pick up Duane for a powerbomb, but Duane releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Duane lands a quick elbow, cross that floors "Kane". Duane is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Kane" throws a push kick. "Kamala" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "Kanes" nose.
Duane shoots but Berry stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Berry throws his knee into the ribs of Duane Peterson. "Kamala" is hit with a heavy knee to the liver and tries to scramble out of side control. Berry scrambles well and takes "Kamalas" back. Round 3 is finished.
