Round 1 Jean Ray attempts a takedown, but Vince Johansson clumsily falls down without much provocation. Ray stands over Vince Johansson, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Vince Johansson is able to grab an arm and pull Ray into his guard. Jean strikes to the body of Johansson from in guard, opening Johansson up for a headshot which bruises his brow. Johansson attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Ray lands a double punch to the head of Vince Johansson. Vince Johansson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jean attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Johansson rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Ray splits Johanssons nose open with a well timed punch. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Vince hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Vince circles Ray, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Jean Ray throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Johansson is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Jean Ray narrowly dodges a cross from Vince, but falls catching him in his guard. Ray connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Vince Johansson drops a few strong punches, opening up Rays guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Jean gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Vince Johansson peppers Jean with several shots to the face. Jean starts to wiggle out of back control, Vince Johansson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Jean Ray fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Johansson. Vince Johansson lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Vince takes Jean Rays back standing. Jean Ray isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Vince lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Jean Ray to release. Vince blocks a cross, liver shot combo but is pushed backward. Jean tries to press the action but is met with a jab, cross, uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Vince Johansson kicks at the legs of "Billy Hill" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "Billy Hill" to stand. Round 3 comes to a close.
