Round 1 Ramirez circles Aerni, landing jabs and crosses at will. Christoph connects with a hard jab as Ramirez attempts a wide outside hook. Fernando Ramirez blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Christoph Aerni tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Fernando lays into Christophs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Christoph does so. Christoph Aerni attempts a takedown but slips, and Ramirez backs away. Christoph takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Fernando circles Aerni, mixing jabs with body shots. Christoph Aerni is hit with a hook and shovel punch stumbles backward. Fernando Ramirez explodes forward with at superman punch that drops Christoph Aerni to the canvas.
