Round 1
Butch Day takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Butch Day fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Jay. Day works Jay Barnes into the cage from the clinch. Day presses his head under "Indestructos" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Day decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing "Indestructo" with him. Day gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. While in Z half guard Jay tries to pull his arm off the ground but Butch is too fast and uses an arm drag to spin and take his back. Jay uses his momentum and rolls him back over and spins in the guard of Butch ending up back in his guard. Day gets his arm underneath the neck of Jay Barnes while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Jay Barnes powers out of the attempted choke. Barnes stands up with Day still holding guard. As Day releases his guard Barnes spins to a kneebar but it is too shallow. Barnes takes couple of shots to the head. The fighters scramble to standing position. Barnes throws a few jabs at Butch that miss the mark. "Indestructo" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Butch Day puts "Indestructo" on the mat giving his back up. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Jay Barnes throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. "Indestructo" keeps Butch off balance and uses a large outer wheel trip to take side control. Butch takes a few knees to the body while under "Indestructos" side control. Jay Barnes slides his knee across the body of Butch Day and takes full mount. Butch Day shifts his head and hips to keep Barnes off balance and unable to land strikes. Butch attempts to buck Jay Barnes off from mount but Jay Barnes keeps his base and maintains position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Butch snaps back the head of Barnes with a stiff jab. Butch Day narrowly dodges a cross from Barnes, but falls catching him in his guard. Butch Day begins to posture on his side. Jay lands a couple of outside hooks and Butch Day returns to the guard. Butch sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Day maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Jay Barnes is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
