Round 1 A welt begins to form under Wellens eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Sammy. A shot attempt from Buck Wellen is sidestepped by "Ball Peen" who counters with a hard spear of his own. "Ball Peen" throws an outside hook that lands flush allowing him to stand up to tower over Buck Wellen. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Sammy throws a few jabs at Wellen that miss the mark. Sammy hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Buck ducks under a loopy hoop, taking "Ball Peen" to the mat, and his back. Buck Wellen begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Neal rolls to being mounted instead. Sammy lands a good elbow as Buck Wellen lowers his torso. Sammy Neal attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Wellen works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Buck Wellen dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Sammy standing over him. Sammy Neal attempts to drop a fist on Buck Wellen, but misses and lands in his guard. Buck shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Wellen connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Buck Wellen is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Neal. Buck connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. The round comes to an end.
