Round 1 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Burke Schneider gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Schneider carefully protects himself from Xies strikes. Schneider is able to make it back to the standing position. Bao Xie throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Burke Schneider. A jab from Xie is blocked and a cross is returned by Schneider. Bao Xie eats a stiff kick to the face. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Burke Schneider lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Bao connects with a strong body shot combo. Bao hits an uppercut to the head of Burke followed by a hard hook. Schneider connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "The Tiger". Bao Xie eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Burke Schneider. Burke pushes away from Bao Xie and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Schneider attempts a lazy shot, which Bao sprawls, eventually taking Schneider back. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Burke connects with a jab cross combination. Bao starts to put on the pressure, forcing Burke Schneider back into the cage. Bao takes advantage and clinches. Schneider escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Bao connects with a series of punches forcing Burke Schneider into a clinch. Bao works Burke into the cage from the clinch. Bao presses his head under Schneiders chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. A rising hip toss puts Burke under Baos side control. Xie lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Burke Schneider is able to get back to full guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
