Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Juan Rojas places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Lawson escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Lawson connects with a jab cross combination. Lawson attempts to clinch, but Juan connects with an uppercut to the jaw. A welt begins to form under Lawsons eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Juan. A shot attempt from Lawson is sidestepped by Juan who counters with a hard spear of his own. Juan throws an outside hook that lands flush allowing him to stand up to tower over Lawson. Rojas drops a huge strike to "Boa Constrictor s" chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Juan Rojas hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Juan blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Mike tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. "Boa Constrictor " fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Rojas to the cage. Rojas swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Juan Rojas connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Rojas lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Rojas works to Mikes back while standing. Rojas throws a couple of outside shots until Mike is able to work his way back to the clinch. Juan escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Juan circles Mike, landing jabs and crosses at will. Juan Rojas throws a few jabs at Mike Lawson that miss the mark. Juan Rojas unleashes a flurry of punches on Mike. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
