Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Yodthanong Anand works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. While tied up, "Eskimofo" is met with a hard uppercut. Garrett is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Yodthanong Anand explodes with a flurry of punches. Garrett is then thrown to the floor. Yodthanong attempts to drop a fist on "Eskimofo", but misses and lands in his guard. Anand takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Elixs guard. It doesn't pay off as Garrett makes his way to standing. Yodthanong Anand stuffs a shot from Garrett and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Yodthanong knocks the wind out of Garrett with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. "Eskimofo" attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing "The Dude Abides " the chance to pass to side control. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Yodthanong Anand connects with a hard punch making "Eskimofo" bring him in to a tight clinch. "The Dude Abides " works Garrett into the cage from the clinch. "The Dude Abides " presses his head under Garretts chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Yodthanong takes the back of "Eskimofo" who works for a kimura. Yodthanong pulls his arm out of the hold and push "Eskimofo" away. Elix Garrett is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Yodthanong Anand stands over Elix Garrett, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Elix Garrett is able to grab an arm and pull Yodthanong Anand into his guard. Yodthanong Anand takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Elixs guard. It doesn't pay off as Garrett makes his way to standing. Anand fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Elix to the cage. Elix swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Elix connects with several chop shots from the bottom. A strong chopping strike hits Yodthanong Anand across the face. Yodthanong Anand lands a series of return strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Elix Garrett narrowly dodges a cross from Anand, but falls catching him in his guard. Yodthanong pushes down Elix Garretts leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Yodthanong Anand is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Yodthanong lands a double punch to the head of Garrett. Garrett gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Yodthanong lands a double punch to the head of "Eskimofo". "Eskimofo" tries to explode out the backdoor but Yodthanong Anand sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. "Eskimofo" falls flat to protect himself. The round comes to an end.
