Round 1 Mahdavi hits an uppercut to the head of Douglas followed by a hard hook. Douglas Spalding gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Douglas Spalding carefully protects himself from Mahdavis strikes. Douglas Spalding slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Spalding lands a double jab. Jamshid connects with a jab cross combination. The fighters circle each other. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jamshid lands a hook to the body. Jamshid Mahdavi parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. A lazy leg kick from Mahdavi is caught by Spalding who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Mahdavi. Douglas grabs a foot and kicks at Jamshids thighs. He then backs off and Jamshid stands back up. Mahdavi attempts a takedown but slips, and Spalding backs away. Spalding is standing over Mahdavi. A solid kick bruises the leg of Mahdavi. Spalding hovers over Jamshid pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Jamshid sends a hard up kick that rocks Spalding. Jamshid stands back up. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Douglas lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Jamshid. Douglas then switch kicks Jamshid in the jaw, stunning him for a flurry of punches that leaves Jamshid out cold.
