Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Wayne King catches Hack Martin with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Hack Martin gather himself. Hack Martin says he is ok and the fight continues. King connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Hack Martin. Martin dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Hack narrowly dodges a cross from King, but falls catching him in his guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Martin fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Wayne to the cage. Wayne swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Hack distracts King with some peppering shots. Hack then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. King is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. King holds the head of Martin close to avoid shots. Martin slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Hack Martin presses his foot onto the thigh of Wayne King to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Hack Martin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Hack slides his knee across the body of King and takes full mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Wayne connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Hack connects with a strong body shot combo. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hack recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Hack Martin narrowly dodges a cross from Wayne King, but falls catching him in his guard. Martin attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Wayne narrowly dodges a cross from Martin, but falls catching him in his guard. Wayne powers out sweeping Hack Martin with pure strength. Wayne is now in side control. Martin takes a few knees to the body while under Wayne Kings side control. Hack Martin takes a few knees to the body while under Kings side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
