Round 1 Beto connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Mahdavi. Beto dodges a series of strikes from Jamshid and counters with a body shot and cross. Beto then backs up and wags a finger at Jamshid. Deleon connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Mahdavi connects with a strong body shot combo. Jamshid throws a push kick. Deleon shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Jamshids nose.

Round 2 Deleon dodges a series of strikes from Mahdavi and counters with a body shot and cross. Deleon then backs up and wags a finger at Mahdavi. A wild hook from Jamshid Mahdavi is ducked by Deleon who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Beto Deleon hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Jamshid. Beto lands a double jab. Beto connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Jamshid. Jamshid Mahdavi parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Mahdavi hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Both fighters begin to exchange Jamshid catches Beto with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Beto gather himself. Beto says he is ok and the fight continues. Mahdavi hits an uppercut to the head of Beto followed by a hard hook. Beto connects with a hard punch making Jamshid bring him in to a tight clinch. Beto absorbs several body shots while being tied up. Deleon attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Jamshids strikes.
