Round 1 Antonio hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Eduardo Fernandez loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Reyes for the mistake. Reyes has side control. Fernandez is wisely defending a kimura. Reyes attempts to take it but Fernandez is having none of it, though Reyes has used the chance the slide into mount. Eduardo Fernandez arches his body up to buck off Reyes from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. Eduardo Fernandez lands a double jab. Reyes tries to hyperextend the knee of Fernandez with a kick to the kneecap. Round 2 Fernandez grabs for a clinch but Reyes grazes him with an uppercut. Fernandez staggers back, then surprises Reyes with a powerful superman punch. Antonio is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Eduardo Fernandez. Antonio winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Eduardo connects with a right that puts Reyes off balance tumbling to the mat, as Eduardo towers over him.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Eduardo connects with numerous jabs to the face of Antonio Reyes. Fernandez sends Antonio Reyes to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Fernandez opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. Eduardo Fernandez kicks at the legs of Reyes and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Reyes to stand. Eduardo Fernandez stuffs a shot from Reyes and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Eduardo Fernandez takes advantage of a mental laps from Antonio Reyes and moves into full mount. Round 3 is finished.
