Round 1 Tomas is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Martin attempts an armbar, but "The Shankengine" stops the attempt. Martin uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Marty maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Tomas Petrulis gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Marty Martin lands a double punch to the head of Petrulis. Tomas starts to wiggle out of back control, Marty Martin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "The Shankengine" connects with a hard punch making "Fartin" bring him in to a tight clinch. Tomas receieves numerous knees to the thighs from "Fartin". Tomas takes Martys back standing. Marty isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Tomas lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Marty to release. Marty Martin winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. A wild hook from Martin is ducked by Petrulis who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Marty Martin hits an uppercut to the head of Petrulis followed by a hard hook. Martin attempts a takedown but slips, and Tomas backs away. Tomas is standing over Martin. Petrulis stands over Marty, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Marty cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Martin catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping "The Shankengine". Marty Martin drops a huge strike to Tomas Petruliss chin, landing into his guard. Petrulis is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Marty. "The Shankengine" attempts to create some space from his guard, but Marty sees the opening and passes to full mount. "The Shankengine" attempts to buck Martin off from mount but Martin keeps his base and maintains position. Tomas gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Tomas panics and gives up mount instead. Tomas shifts his head and hips to keep Martin off balance and unable to land strikes.Round 3 comes to a close.
