Round 1 Patrik Perko is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Ali lays into Perkos thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Perko does so. Perko throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Kadivar. Kadivar lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Perko on his back. Ali Kadivar kicks at the legs of Patrik Perko and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Patrik Perko to stand. Kadivar connects with a series of punches forcing Patrik into a clinch. Kadivar places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Patrik attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Kadivar lands in half guard. Ali opens a cut over the eye of Patrik Perko. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Ali Kadivar slips out of half guard and into side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Kadivar connects with numerous jabs to the face of Patrik. Ali connects with jab cross combination. Ali lands a hook to the body. Kadivar hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Patrik. Kadivar snaps back the head of Patrik with a stiff jab. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Ali lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Patrik winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Patrik hits an uppercut to the head of Ali Kadivar followed by a hard hook. Ali Kadivar grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Perko. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
