Round 1 Butch Day attempts to clinch, but Bif connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Frazier connects with a hard punch making Butch bring him in to a tight clinch. Bif Frazier lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Bif works to Days back while standing. Bif throws a couple of outside shots until Butch Day is able to work his way back to the clinch. Butch Day takes Bifs back standing. Bif isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Butch Day lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Bif to release. Frazier is staggered by a jab to the chin. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Bif connects with a strong body shot combo. Bif Frazier lands a solid kick to the front leg of Butch Day. Round 2 Butch eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Bif. Day sends Frazier to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Frazier is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Day and he traps Bif Fraziers extended leg to move to half guard. Day attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Bif Frazier gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Butch Day tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Butch Day is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Day connects with a jab cross combination. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Butch takes Bif Fraziers back standing. Butch lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Bif is able to work his way back around. Butch Day works to Bif Fraziers back while standing. Butch Day throws a couple of outside shots until Bif Frazier is able to work his way back to the clinch. Bif escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Bif Frazier is staggered by a jab to the chin. Butch Day hits an uppercut to the head of Bif followed by a hard hook. Bif Frazier throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Day. Frazier lands a double jab. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
