Round 1 Maldonado hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Mitchell lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Rodri switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Mitchell.
Rodri lands a solid kick to the front leg of Karl Mitchell. Maldonado strikes with a straight front kick. A powerful roundhouse kick to the head sends Mitchell to the floor. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Karl connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Maldonado works to Karl Mitchells back while standing. Round 3 A wild hook from Maldonado is ducked by Karl Mitchell who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Maldonado snaps back the head of Karl Mitchell with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Maldonado shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Mitchells nose.
