Round 1 Jason Fox fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of Miguel Huerta. Miguel Huerta connects with a hard punch making Fox bring him in to a tight clinch. Miguel works to Jason Foxs back while standing. Miguel throws a couple of outside shots until Jason Fox is able to work his way back to the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Miguel takes the back of Fox who works for a kimura. Miguel pulls his arm out of the hold and push Fox away. Jason Fox lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Miguel Huerta. Huerta connects with a teep to the face of Jason Fox. Jason Fox connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Miguel Huerta throws a few jabs at Fox that miss the mark. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jason connects with a hard punch making Miguel Huerta bring him in to a tight clinch. Miguel lands some solid knees to the legs of Fox from the clinch. Jason Fox escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Miguel Huerta keeps Fox at a distance with some well timed jabs. Huerta counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Fox lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Miguel switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Fox.

Round 3 Jason lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Jason connects with a hard punch making Miguel Huerta bring him in to a tight clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Huerta dazed. Jason Fox places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Huerta takes the back of Jason Fox who works for a kimura. Huerta pulls his arm out of the hold and push Jason Fox away. Jason connects with jab cross combination. Huerta throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Jason. Huerta throws a cross that easily dodged by Jason. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The round comes to an end.
