Round 1 Eduardo Cruz sprawls a takedown attempt from "Redneck Pheonix". "Redneck Pheonix" eats several punches on the way back to his feet. After dodging a jab-cross, Gray lands a kick to the liver of Cruz who steps back and begins to take a knee. Gray rushes forward to capitalize but Cruz stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Eugene throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Eduardo Cruz. Eugene continually moves away from Eduardo Cruz, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Eduardo connects with a strong right hook. Cruz grabs for a clinch but "Redneck Pheonix" grazes him with an uppercut. Cruz staggers back, then surprises "Redneck Pheonix" with a powerful superman punch. Gray is rocked by a standing elbow strike. "Redneck Pheonix" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Redneck Pheonix" throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Cruz. Eduardo Cruz throws a powerful cross that hits right on the button, putting Gray down.
