Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Ian Robbins connects with a hard punch making Hyeonjoon bring him in to a tight clinch. Hyeonjoon Hwang uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Ian backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Robbins connects with a strong right hook. Hyeonjoon Hwang is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from "Rushdown". Robbins winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 A lazy leg kick from Ian is caught by Hyeonjoon who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Ian. Hwang stands over Ian, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Ian is able to grab an arm and pull Hwang into his guard. Ian Robbins attempts an armbar. Hyeonjoon Hwang time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Robbinss guard. Hyeonjoon Hwang passes through Robbinss guard into mount. Ian Robbins attempts to buck Hyeonjoon Hwang off from mount but Hyeonjoon Hwang keeps his base and maintains position. "Rushdown" gets pummeled by the fists of Hyeonjoon Hwang. "Rushdown" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Giving up his back, Ian Robbins panics and gives up mount instead. Hwang maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A welt begins to form under "Rushdowns" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Hyeonjoon. Ian narrowly dodges a cross from Hyeonjoon, but falls catching him in his guard. Hwang attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Robbins slips out of it at the last moment. A kimura attempt from "Rushdown" is countered by a punch from Hyeonjoon Hwang, who then transitions to half guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
