Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ryan Paang works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ryan Paang takes Mitsuos back standing. Mitsuo Kitagawa isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Ryan Paang lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Mitsuo Kitagawa to release. Kitagawa connects with a hard jab as Paang attempts a wide outside hook. Ryan tries to hyperextend the knee of Kitagawa with a kick to the kneecap. Kitagawa hops back to avoid it. Kitagawa hits an uppercut to the head of Ryan Paang followed by a hard hook. Ryan Paang catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Kitagawa. Ryan stands over Mitsuo, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Mitsuo is able to grab an arm and pull Ryan into his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Kitagawa parries Paangs jab and lands a liver shot. Paang tries to hyperextend the knee of Mitsuo with a kick to the kneecap. Mitsuo hops back to avoid it. Ryan lands a double jab. Ryan executes a single leg giving him the back of Kitagawa. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kitagawa throws a cross that easily dodged by Paang. Ryan Paang connects with jab cross combination. Mitsuo Kitagawa connects with a strong right hook. Kitagawa lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Ryan Paang lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Mitsuo. Mitsuo Kitagawa counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
