Round 1 JT Kelly throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Two short elbows from the clinch put "Turtleneck Soldier" off balance. JT holds him up, landing two more quick elbows. Kelly grabs the plum and pulls Yoichi Tsujimuras face into a powerful knee. Kelly grabs for a clinch but Yoichi Tsujimura grazes him with an uppercut. Kelly staggers back, then surprises Yoichi Tsujimura with a powerful superman punch. JT fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Turtleneck Soldier". Tsujimura takes JT Kellys back standing. Tsujimura lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. JT is able to work his way back around. Tsujimura absorbs several body shots while being tied up. "Orlando Magic" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Yoichi fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Orlando Magic". "Orlando Magic" attempts to grab the plum but Yoichi takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down "Orlando Magic". "Turtleneck Soldier" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Kellys guard. It doesn't pay off as JT Kelly makes his way to standing. Tsujimura narrowly dodges a cross from "Orlando Magic", but falls catching him in his guard. Yoichi shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. JT Kelly tries to pass guard but "Turtleneck Soldier" stops him with a well timed punch. Tsujimura sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Turtleneck Soldier" takes Kellys back standing. "Turtleneck Soldier" lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. JT is able to work his way back around. An attempt at a clinch takedown from "Orlando Magic" is defended well by Tsujimura. "Orlando Magic" grabs an overhook, steps to the side and lands an incredibly hard cross with his free hand that knocks Tsujimura the floor. JT attempts to drop a fist on Yoichi, but misses and lands in his guard. Tsujimura attempts an armbar from the bottom, but JT Kelly slips out at the last moment. Yoichi grabs the arm of JT Kelly while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Tsujimura locks a triangle but Kelly defends well. Tsujimura decides to let go of the hold. "Turtleneck Soldier" attempts a kimura from the bottom. JT Kelly blocks the attempt and smothers "Turtleneck Soldier" who transitions to an armbar attempt. JT Kelly is able to defend this as well and works back into guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
