Round 1 Zack Goodwin connects with a hard punch making Bates bring him in to a tight clinch. Goodwin throws a solid knee to the jaw of Bates. Zack Goodwin escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Zack dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Riggs Bates. Riggs Bates lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Zack Goodwin. Zack connects with jab cross combination. Goodwin connects with a right that puts Riggs off balance tumbling to the mat, as Goodwin towers over him. Zack Goodwin grabs a foot and kicks at Riggss thighs. He then backs off and Riggs stands back up. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Zack lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Riggs Bates. Zack throws a kick to the midsection of Bates. Goodwin connects with a right that puts Riggs Bates off balance tumbling to the mat, as Goodwin towers over him. Zack grabs a foot and kicks at Riggs Batess thighs. He then backs off and Riggs stands back up. Riggs throws a hard jab but Zack throws a cross right over the top that knocks Riggs to the ground. Zack Goodwin crescent stomps the sternum of Riggs Bates. Zack Goodwin kicks at the legs of Riggs and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Riggs to stand. Goodwin is staggered by a jab to the chin. Zack Goodwin ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Riggs Bates to the mat, and his back. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Riggs Bates lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Zack Goodwin. Zack snaps back the head of Riggs with a stiff jab. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Zack throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Bates is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. After dodging a jab-cross, Zack Goodwin lands a kick to the liver of Bates who steps back and begins to take a knee. Zack Goodwin rushes forward to capitalize but Bates stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Zack Goodwin is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Riggs tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Zack Goodwin that puts him on the floor. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
