Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lucas works Wu into the cage from the clinch. Lucas presses his head under Wus chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Lucas takes the back of Wu Yan who works for a kimura. Lucas pulls his arm out of the hold and push Wu Yan away. Wu Yan throws a cross that easily dodged by Lucas. Lucas connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Pete Lucas hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Pete Lucas catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Yan. Pete Lucas stands over Wu, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Wu is able to grab an arm and pull Pete Lucas into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Pete hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Wu. Lucas attempts a takedown but slips, and Wu backs away. Wu is standing over Lucas. Wu hovers over Pete Lucas pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Wu waves for Pete Lucas to stand up. Wu connects with a right that puts Pete off balance tumbling to the mat, as Wu towers over him. Wu drops a huge strike to Petes chin, landing into his guard. Pete Lucas lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Pete gets his arm underneath the neck of Yan while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head and applies pressure. Yan taps out from too much pain.
