Round 1 Brent connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Cashews" catches a leg kick from Regan, and puts him on the mat. Brent drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Brent Caron defends a triangle attempt, throwing Rory Regans straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Rory Regan is able to hold him to half guard. Brent Caron slams his knee into Rorys ribs. Rory holds the head of Brent Caron close to avoid shots. Brent Caron slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Regan uses the planted arm of Brent to push off and get back to guard position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Cashews" takes down Rory, but remains standing over him. Brent Caron drops a huge strike to Rorys chin, landing into his guard. Brent attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Regan slips out of it at the last moment. Brent distracts Rory with peppering shots. Brent then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Rory is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Brent punishes Rory with a series of strikes from the mount. Rory gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Regan rolls back into being mounted. Rory Regan arches his body up to buck off Brent Caron from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Rory connects with a right that puts "Cashews" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Rory towers over him. Rory cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Brent back to his feet. Brent Caron throws a hard jab but Rory Regan throws a cross right over the top that knocks Brent Caron to the ground. Rory stands over "Cashews", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Cashews" is able to grab an arm and pull Rory into his guard. Rory Regan tries to move to half guard but Brent Caron uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Caron backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. The bell signals the end of round 3.
