Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Hwang catches Sidney Brewer with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Sidney Brewer gather himself. Sidney Brewer says he is ok and the fight continues. The fighters circle each other. Hwang connects with jab cross combination. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Brewer eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Hyeonjoon. Hyeonjoon Hwang connects with a hard punch making Sidney bring him in to a tight clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under Sidney Brewers eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Hwang. Sidney connects with a series of punches forcing Hwang into a clinch. Hyeonjoon drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Brewer sets a guillotine choke but Hyeonjoon slips out at the last moment. Hyeonjoon is now caught in guard. Hyeonjoon Hwang sits up in Sidneys open guard and spins to an leg lock. Sidney Brewer is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Hyeonjoon narrowly dodges a cross from Sidney Brewer, but falls catching him in his guard. Hyeonjoon connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Hyeonjoon begins to posture on his side. Brewer lands a couple of outside hooks and Hyeonjoon returns to the guard. Hyeonjoon Hwang locks in a triangle, but Sidney Brewer is able to slip a hand in just enough to keep the choke from sinking. Hyeonjoon Hwang then reaches his hands behind his knees and locks an s grip and raises his legs. Sidney Brewer taps from a teepee.
