Round 1 Jim looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but "No Dice" lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "No Dice" rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Jim back into the cage dizzied. Jones parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Jim Jones ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Sonny Nelson peppers Jones with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Jim Jones is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. Round 2 Nelson lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Jim Jones. A low kick is shin checked by Nelson who retaliates with a superman punch that floors Jim Jones. Nelson moves back until the ref stands Jim Jones up. Jim Jones circles to the right. "No Dice" hits a hard spinning back kick to the body. Sonny winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Jim dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. "No Dice" blocks a cross, liver shot combo but is pushed backward. Jim Jones tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keep him at bay. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Jim Jones snaps back the head of Sonny with a stiff jab. Both fighters begin to exchange Nelson catches Jim Jones with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jim Jones gather himself. Jim Jones says he is ok and the fight continues. "No Dice" lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Jim Jones. "No Dice" then switch kicks Jim Jones in the jaw, stunning him for a flurry of punches that leaves Jim Jones out cold.
