Round 1 Marquez presses forward and grazes Marty with a combo. Marty wants none of the stand up and clinches with Marquez to then savagely throw him down to the ground. "Fartin" drops a huge strike to Marquezs chin, landing into his guard. Pedro connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Pedro Marquez attempts to create some space from his guard, but Martin sees the opening and passes to full mount. "Fartin" executes a double hand slap to the ears of Pedro Marquez. Pedro Marquez gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Fartin" attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Pedro rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Marty Martin maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Fartin" attempts a takedown, but Pedro clumsily falls down without much provocation. Marty stands over Pedro, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Pedro is able to grab an arm and pull Marty into his guard. Pedro Marquez begins to posture on his side. Marty lands a couple of outside hooks and Pedro Marquez returns to the guard. "Fartin" passes through Marquezs guard into mount. Pedro Marquez attempts to buck Marty off from mount but Marty keeps his base and maintains position. Marquez gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Marty lands a series of heavy punches forcing Pedro Marquez to roll to his back, giving Marty mount. Marty throws some outside strikes at Pedro. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Pedro Marquez connects with a jab cross combination. Marty is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Marquez falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Pedro Marquez drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Marty attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Pedro narrowly avoids it, but allows for Marty to take mount. Martin executes a double hand slap to the ears of Pedro. Pedro tries to slip out the back, but "Fartin" locks in an inverted triangle choke. Pedro taps.
