Round 1 "Booker T" connects with a strong right hook. Castro connects with a strong body shot combo. Castro connects with a hard jab as "Booker T" attempts a wide outside hook. Clive Cloutier lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Fernando Castro attempts to clinch, but Clive connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Clive Cloutier counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Clive Cloutier lands a devastating overhand right on Fernando. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Clive throws a push kick. Castro shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Cloutiers nose.
Fernando Castro connects with a series of punches forcing Clive into a clinch. Fernando gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Clive drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Castro sets a guillotine choke but Clive slips out at the last moment. Clive is now caught in guard. Cloutier frees a leg and moves into half guard. Castro positions himself back into full guard. Castro locks a triangle but Clive defends well. Castro continues the attempt but finally decides to let go. Cloutiers face is red from the choke and sits low in the guard to catch his breath. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Clive but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Clive Cloutier winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Clive connects with a hard jab as Fernando attempts a wide outside hook. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 A spinning back kick leaves Fernando Castro stumbling back and clutching his side. Cloutier eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Castro. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cloutier escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Cloutier narrowly dodges a cross from Fernando, but falls catching him in his guard. Fernando Castro sits up in Cloutiers open guard and spins to an leg lock. Cloutier is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Fernando Castro narrowly dodges a cross from "Booker T", but falls catching him in his guard. Castro powers out sweeping Clive with pure strength. Castro is now in side control. Castro attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Cloutier for his troubles. Castro postures up and lands a couple of strong elbows to the head of "Booker T". "Booker T" rolls away from Castro but Castro follows him and takes his back. Round 3 comes to a close.
