Round 1 Jihoon Nam is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Jihoon Nam can continue. Jihoon eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Hans Foster. Hans parries Jihoons jab and lands a liver shot. Jihoon Nam lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Jihoon Nam is leading with his head during his combos and Hans makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Jihoon Nam shakes it off as he steps back. Hans Foster rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Nam back into the cage dizzied. Hans lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Hans connects with a strong right hook. Jihoon Nam hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Foster lands a looping hook to Nams temple, backing him off. Foster follows with a lead-leg kick that buckles Nam the ground. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Jihoon Nam connects with a right that puts Hans off balance tumbling to the mat, as Jihoon Nam towers over him. Jihoon Nam drops a huge strike to Hans Fosters chin, landing into his guard. Hans connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Nam distracts Hans with peppering shots. Nam then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Hans is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Hans Foster lands a good elbow as Nam lowers his torso. Foster gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Hans eats a few stiff shots from Jihoon Nam, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Hans Foster shifts his head and hips to keep Nam off balance and unable to land strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Hans takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Jihoon connects with a hard punch making Foster bring him in to a tight clinch. Hans Foster escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A wild hook from Hans is ducked by Nam who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Nam works Foster into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Nam presses his head into Hans Fosters chest, forcing him to the ground. Jihoon strikes to the body of Hans Foster from in guard, opening Hans Foster up for a headshot which bruises his brow. Jihoon Nam frees a leg and moves into half guard. Jihoon Nam slips out of half guard and into side control. Jihoon Nam throws his knee into the ribs of Foster. Jihoon lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
