Round 1 Rodriquez dodges a series of strikes from Thompson and counters with a body shot and cross. Rodriquez then backs up and wags a finger at Thompson. Round 2 Rodriquez connects with a hard jab as Jerry attempts a wide outside hook. Rodriquez connects with a hard punch making Jerry Thompson bring him in to a tight clinch. Thompson throws on a beautiful flying armbar from the clinch, but Rodriquez is able to shift out at the last moment.
