Round 1 Vargas connects with a hard punch making Seo bring him in to a tight clinch. Juancho lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Vargas dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Rim standing over him. Seo attempts to drop a fist on Juancho Vargas, but misses and lands in his guard. Juancho Vargas locks a kimura and forces Seo to defend. Juancho Vargas settles for a couple of cross-body chops to Seo Rims temple. Seo Rim tries to pass guard but Vargas stops him with a well timed punch. Juancho Vargas connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Round 2 Juancho Vargas connects with numerous jabs to the face of Seo. Juancho Vargas dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Rim gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Seo Rim carefully protects himself from Juancho Vargass strikes. Seo Rim is able to make it back to the standing position. Juancho hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Vargas takes a punch and goes to the mat, Seo pounces into side control. Vargas recovers quickly. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Seo Rim fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Juancho Vargas to the cage. Juancho Vargas swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Vargas begins to posture on his side. Rim lands a couple of outside hooks and Vargas returns to the guard. Rim sits up in Juancho Vargass open guard and spins to an leg lock. Juancho is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Juancho parries Seo Rims jab and connect with a cross. Seo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Rim shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Juancho Vargas takes a few knees to the body while under Rims side control. Seo Rim attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Vargas for his troubles.Round 3 comes to a close.
