Round 1 Petersen attempts to clinch, but Lara connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Lara sends Alexander to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Petersen backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Lara blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Alexander tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Andres Lara connects with a hard punch making Alexander Petersen bring him in to a tight clinch. Andres Lara grabs the plum and tosses Alexander Petersen to the ground. Lara drops a powerful fist onto Alexander. Petersens eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
