Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Semyon gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "Bob and Throb" takes Tereshchenkos back standing, but Tereshchenko isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but "Bob and Throb" squirms out and both fighters end up standing. James Farmer connects with a hard jab as Tereshchenko attempts a wide outside hook. Semyon hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. James Farmer is staggered by a jab to the chin. Tereshchenko takes down James, but remains standing over him. Semyon Tereshchenko stands over Farmer, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Farmer cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Tereshchenko fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Bob and Throb". Semyon works "Bob and Throb" into the cage from the clinch. Semyon presses his head under "Bob and Throbs" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Tereshchenko attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Farmer standing over him. James attempts to drop a fist on Tereshchenko, but misses and lands in his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Farmer across the face. Farmer lands a series of return strikes. Semyon connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Semyon Tereshchenko begins to posture on his side. James lands a couple of outside hooks and Semyon Tereshchenko returns to the guard. Tereshchenko starts to lock a triangle. James Farmer postures up and starts to stand up. Tereshchenko lands a stiff upkick, slumping James Farmer back into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Semyon Tereshchenkos legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Semyon Tereshchenko is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. James falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Farmer backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Farmer grabs for a clinch but Semyon grazes him with an uppercut. Farmer staggers back, then surprises Semyon with a powerful superman punch. James Farmer connects with a hard punch making Semyon bring him in to a tight clinch. Farmer grabs the plum and tosses Tereshchenko to the ground. James kicks at the thighs of Semyon. Round 3 is finished.
