Round 1 Juarez parries Shawns jab and lands a liver shot. Both fighters begin to exchange Raul Juarez catches Shawn with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Shawn gather himself. Shawn says he is ok and the fight continues. Raul blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Shawn Perry tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Raul circles Shawn, mixing jabs with body shots. Perry moves in to press the action, but Raul lands a heavy back kick. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Shawn is staggered by a jab to the chin. Raul Juarez gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Raul Juarez carefully protects himself from Shawn Perrys strikes. Juarez slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Raul Juarez lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Perry. Shawn connects with a strong body shot combo. Raul connects with a teep to the face of "Scary". Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Juarez works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Juarez escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Raul Juarez keeps Perry at a distance with some well timed jabs. Raul Juarez connects with a hard jab as Shawn attempts a wide outside hook. "Scary" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Raul Juarez. "Scary" is hit with a stiff double jab and stumbles to the mat, rolling to his back. Raul Juarez lays into Shawn with some stomps. Shawn can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
