Round 1 A lazy leg kick from Antonio Giordano is caught by Royler who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Antonio Giordano. Royler kicks at the legs of Antonio Giordano and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Antonio Giordano to stand. Antonio is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Royler prepares to pounce, but Antonio gets his bearings just in time. "Misterioso" lays into Antonios thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Antonio does so. Antonio attempts a striking combination, but Royler forces the clinch. "Misterioso" directs the head of Giordano leading to a stiff knee to the face. Giordano lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Royler for a trip takedown. Royler is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Giordanos half guard. Royler Artigas opens a cut over the eye of Antonio Giordano. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Royler slams his knee into Antonios ribs. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Antonio lands a double jab. Giordano fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Artigas. Artigas attempts to grab the plum but Giordano takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Artigas. Royler Artigas backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Artigas sends Antonio to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Royler pulls out of the guard of Antonio, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Antonio. Antonio fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Artigas. A kimura attempt is defended well by Royler and he is able to sneak his leg through Antonio Giordanos loose guard, to half guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Giordano lands a double jab. Giordano takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Giordano ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Royler to the mat, and his back. "Misterioso" carefully protects himself from Antonios strikes. Royler Artigas is able to make it back to the standing position. Antonio Giordano connects with numerous jabs to the face of Royler. Antonio Giordano throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from "Misterioso" puts Antonio Giordano on the mat giving his back up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
