Round 1
A wild hook from Kazmi is ducked by "The Righteous Wings" who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Taj Kazmi narrowly dodges a cross from Cosmin Ionesco, but falls catching him in his guard. Taj Kazmi is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from Cosmin Ionesco while utilizing the guard. "The Righteous Wings" frees a leg and moves into half guard. Cosmin Ionesco is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Kazmi gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Taj is able to make it back to the standing position. Cosmin Ionesco hoists up Kazmi in the air for a slam but Kazmi makes himself too heavy and gets his feet back to the ground. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Ionesco wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Taj. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Kazmi is staggered by a jab to the chin. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "The Righteous Wings" ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Taj to the mat, and his back. Cosmin Ionesco tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Taj Kazmi starts to wiggle out of back control, Ionesco lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Taj connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ionesco. The fighters circle each other. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Cosmin Ionesco is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Taj Kazmi prepares to pounce, but Cosmin Ionesco gets his bearings just in time. Taj Kazmi drops a huge strike to Cosmins chin, landing into his guard. Taj distracts Cosmin Ionesco with peppering shots. Taj then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Cosmin Ionesco is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Taj telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Cosmin Ionesco gives up his back to stop the attempt. Kazmi peppers shot to the head of "The Righteous Wings" looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but "The Righteous Wings" is hand playing well. Cosmin rolls through, putting Taj Kazmi into his guard. The round comes to an end.
