Round 1 Jandro buckles Kevin with a kick. Jandro rushes forward to grab a guillotine, then falls to guard. Kevin is in trouble but is able to muscles his way out of the choke. Jandro is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Kevin passes through Gonzalezs guard into mount. Jandro Gonzalez gets pummeled by the fists of Kevin Martin. Jandro Gonzalez gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Kevin Martin peppers shot to the head of Gonzalez looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Gonzalez is hand playing well. Jandro starts to wiggle out of back control, Kevin Martin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jandro attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Kevin Martin. Kevin Martin fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Jandro Gonzalez up for a flurry of hooks. Martin blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Jandro Gonzalez tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Martin kicks at the thighs of Jandro Gonzalez. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Jandro lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Kevin ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Gonzalez and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Jandro throws a kick to the midsection of Kevin. Jandro Gonzalez parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Both fighters begin to exchange Martin catches Gonzalez with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Gonzalez gather himself. Gonzalez says he is ok and the fight continues. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kevin blocks a strong high kick from Gonzalez and counters with a devastating left hook. Martin lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Jandro connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Kevin who falls to the ground. Jandro waves him back to his feet. Gonzalez pushes away from Kevin and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Kevin Martin hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Jandro Gonzalez. Jandro Gonzalez weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Round 3 comes to a close.
