Round 1 Lee Beas legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Bea fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Randy Hayden. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Lee is defended well by Hayden. Lee grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Lee returns to the clinch. Randy attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Bea pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Lee Bea throws a cross that easily dodged by Hayden. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Randy stuffs a shot from Lee Bea and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Hayden keeps Lee Bea at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lee drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Randy sets a guillotine choke but Lee slips out at the last moment. Lee is now caught in guard. Randy attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Randy Hayden connects with jab cross combination. Lee Bea hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Randy is staggered by a jab to the chin.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Bea connects with a right that puts Hayden off balance tumbling to the mat, as Bea towers over him. Bea stands over Hayden, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hayden is able to grab an arm and pull Bea into his guard. Bea attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Randy slips out of it at the last moment. Lee distracts Randy Hayden with peppering shots. Lee then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Randy Hayden is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Lee Bea maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Randy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bea lands a series of heavy punches forcing Randy to roll to his back, giving Bea mount. Lee telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Hayden gives up his back to stop the attempt. Round 3 is over.
