Round 1 Balan connects with a hard jab as Martinez attempts a wide outside hook. Vlad connects with a hard punch making Nacho bring him in to a tight clinch. "The Impaler" throws a short elbow at Nacho. Nacho receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Vlad Balan. Martinez works "The Impaler" into the cage from the clinch. Martinez presses his head under "The Impalers" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "Champ" uses a lifting hip toss to put Balan on his back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Vlad connects with a hard punch making Nacho Martinez bring him in to a tight clinch. Nacho receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Vlad. While tied up, Nacho is met with a hard uppercut. Nacho throws a hard jab but Vlad Balan throws a cross right over the top that knocks Nacho to the ground. Vlad Balan drops a huge strike to Martinezs chin, landing into his guard. Nacho Martinez attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "Champ" is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. "The Impaler" falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. A right hand from Martinez while in guard angers Balan who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Nacho from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Vlad sends Nacho Martinez to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Balan dodges a few strikes from "Champ" and lands an elbow followed by a hammerfist. Balan takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Champs" guard. It doesn't pay off as Nacho Martinez makes his way to standing. Balan hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Nacho throws a cross that easily dodged by Vlad Balan. "The Impaler" shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Vlad Balan lands a few stiff elbows from side control. A series of strong hammerfists forces Martinez to roll over, giving up his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Vlad circles Nacho, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Nacho Martinez takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Martinez throws a hard jab but "The Impaler" throws a cross right over the top rocking Martinez. Nacho Martinez throws a hard jab but Vlad throws a cross right over the top that knocks out Nacho Martinez.
