Round 1 "Matty" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Warwick. Warwick lowers his hands to block a body kick, but "Matty" switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Warwick.
A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Warwick Pera stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. "Matty" lands a devastating overhand right on Pera. Matthew MacGrath circles Pera, landing jabs and crosses at will. Matthew sprawls a takedown attempt from Warwick Pera. Warwick Pera eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Matthew winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "Matty" pushes away from Warwick and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. MacGrath connects with a hard punch making Pera bring him in to a tight clinch. MacGrath places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Pera is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. Matthew takes the back of Warwick Pera who works for a kimura. Matthew pulls his arm out of the hold and push Warwick Pera away. MacGrath dodges a series of strikes from Pera and counters with a body shot and cross. MacGrath then backs up and wags a finger at Pera. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Pera stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. "Matty" dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Warwick Pera. Matthew parries Peras jab and connect with a cross that floors Pera. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Matthew MacGrath throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Warwick Pera. Matthew MacGrath lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Pera. Pera connects with a right that puts Matthew MacGrath off balance tumbling to the mat, as Pera towers over him. Warwick lays into "Mattys" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Matthew does so. Pera connects with a right that puts Matthew off balance tumbling to the mat, as Pera towers over him. As MacGrath attempts to keep Pera in front of him, Pera grabs "Mattys" ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. Pera kicks at the legs of "Matty" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "Matty" to stand. Warwick is cornered by Matthew MacGrath who tries to press the action. Warwick is able to block well and circles away from Matthew MacGrath, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. A series of unanswered punches from Pera forces the ref to stop the action.
