Round 1 Johnson hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Dennis Johnson hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Arthit ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Dennis to the mat, and his back. Aekkaluck locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at Johnson. Dennis starts to wiggle out of back control, Aekkaluck lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Dennis takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A welt begins to form under Johnsons eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Aekkaluck Arthit. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Dennis stuffs a shot from Arthit and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Aekkaluck Arthit tries for a kimura from the bottom. Johnson uses his free hand to connect with several punches and Aekkaluck Arthit is forced to give up on the kimura. Dennis takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Arthits guard. It doesn't pay off as Aekkaluck Arthit makes his way to standing. Aekkaluck Arthit throws a hard jab but Dennis Johnson throws a cross right over the top rocking Aekkaluck Arthit. Both fighters begin to exchange Johnson catches Arthit with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Arthit gather himself. Arthit says he is ok and the fight continues. Dennis Johnson connects with a hard right hand putting Aekkaluck on the mat. Dennis Johnson goes down with him into side control. Johnson drops some hammer fists on Aekkaluck Arthit. Dennis wraps the arm of Aekkaluck Arthit behind his back and traps it. Dennis pounds away with shots to the face. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Arthit attempts a takedown but slips, and Johnson backs away. Johnson is standing over Arthit. Dennis Johnson drops a huge strike to Aekkalucks chin, landing into his guard. Dennis Johnson is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Dennis drops a few strong punches, opening up Aekkalucks guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Aekkaluck Arthit shifts his head and hips to keep Dennis off balance and unable to land strikes. Arthit gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Dennis Johnson begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Arthit rolls to being mounted instead. Dennis maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Round 3 is over.
