Round 1 Brett Thompson parries Pedros jab and lands a hook. Brett connects with a strong right hook. Thompson strikes with a straight front kick. Brett dodges a jab and clinches with Pedro, delivering a knee as he does so. Thompson connects with a teep to the face of Pedro. Thompson hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Pedro Lobo keeps Thompson at a distance with some well timed jabs. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Brett Thompson fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Pedro quickly takes his back. Pedro Lobo slides off to the side of Brett and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Pedro Lobo switches back to full back control. Brett starts to wiggle out of back control, Pedro lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Lobo shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Brett. Lobo sneaks a foot behind Thompsons leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Pedro Lobo attempts an armbar, but Brett stops the attempt. Pedro Lobo uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Pedro Lobo lands a double punch to the head of Brett Thompson. Brett gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Pedro Lobo throws a hard jab but Thompson throws a cross right over the top rocking Pedro Lobo. Pedro Lobo parries Brett Thompsons jab and connect with a cross. Thompson blocks a cross, liver shot combo but is pushed backward. Lobo tries to press the action but is met with a jab, cross, uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Thompson hovers over Lobo pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Lobo sends a hard up kick that rocks Thompson. Lobo stands back up. Lobo weaves through a jab-cross combo from Brett but is met with a powerful uppercut that knocks him to the floor. Thompson lays into Pedros thighs with some well timed kicks while Lobo is grounded. Brett kicks at the legs of Pedro and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Pedro to stand. Brett Thompson takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Thompson gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Round 3 is finished.
