Round 1 Laszlo misses with an axe kick that has "Kumite 2016" back up. Mark Laszlo connects with a hard punch making Cortez bring him in to a tight clinch. Mark Laszlo works to Pablos back while standing. Mark Laszlo throws a couple of outside shots until Pablo Cortez is able to work his way back to the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Mark Laszlo escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Mark Laszlo counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. After dodging a jab, Laszlo lands a kick to the ribs of Pablo who winces in pain. Mark hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Cortez. Mark shuffles in connecting with punches and finishes off "Kumite 2016" with a snapping teep to the head.
