Round 1
Chase Thompson throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Anderson Gouveia puts Chase Thompson on the mat giving his back up. Gouveia peppers Chase Thompson with several shots to the face. Thompson starts to wiggle out of back control, Gouveia lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Gouveia reaches down and trips "Kumite" with a beautiful ankle pick. Gouveia dives into side control. Gouveia slides his knee across the body of Chase Thompson and takes full mount. Chase attempts to buck Gouveia off from mount but Gouveia keeps his base and maintains position. Thompson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Anderson hits an uppercut to the head of Thompson followed by a hard hook. The fighters circle each other. Anderson connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Chase Thompson. Chase connects with a strong body shot combo. A jab from Chase Thompson is blocked and a cross is returned by Gouveia. Anderson Gouveia misses a hard punch giving Thompson the opportunity to hop on his back with both hooks in. Thompson sinks in a tight choke causing Anderson Gouveia to tap out.
