Cesar throws a few jabs at Frankie that miss the mark. Cesar Cardona snaps back the head of Frankie Foster with a stiff jab. Cesar parries Frankies jab and connect with a cross. Frankie Foster presses forward and grazes Cesar Cardona with a combo. Cesar Cardona wants none of the stand up and clinches with Frankie Foster to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Cesar stands over Foster, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Foster is able to grab an arm and pull Cesar into his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Cardona fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Frankie Foster. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Foster takes the back of Cesar who works for a kimura. Foster pulls his arm out of the hold and push Cesar away. Cesar Cardona connects with a right that puts Foster off balance tumbling to the mat, as Cesar Cardona towers over him. Cesar Cardona stands over Frankie, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Frankie is able to grab an arm and pull Cesar Cardona into his guard. Cesar Cardona sits up in Frankie Fosters open guard and spins to an leg lock. Frankie is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Frankie Foster narrowly dodges a cross from Cesar, but falls catching him in his guard. Frankie attempts an armbar. Cardona time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Frankie Fosters guard. Frankie Foster fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Cesar Cardona. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Cesar Cardona attempts a takedown, but Frankie Foster clumsily falls down without much provocation. Cesar Cardona attempts to drop a fist on Foster, but misses and lands in his guard. Foster attempts an armbar. Cesar time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Frankie Fosters guard. Cardona takes advantage of a mental laps from Frankie Foster and moves into full mount. Frankie Foster pulls Cesar close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Frankie Foster gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cardona lays into Frankie with some strong shots forcing Frankie to give up mount position. Foster fights his leg through and gets back to half guard. The round comes to an end.
