Round 1
Robinson throws a crisp jab, but Taylor slips it and moves in for the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Taylor takes Gordons back standing. Robinson isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Taylor lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Robinson to release. Gordon connects with a jab cross combination. James circles to the right. Gordon hits a hard spinning back kick to the body. Gordon throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from James Taylor. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Gordon Robinson continually moves away from James Taylor, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Slow Start" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Taylor sets a guillotine choke but "Slow Start" slips out at the last moment. "Slow Start" is now caught in guard. James backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. James lands a lunging, looping hook to Robinsons temple. James Taylor slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of Gordon. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
James connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Gordon connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. James Taylor lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Gordon Robinson connects with a hard straight to the body. Taylor drops to a knee in pain giving Gordon Robinson the opportunity to finish him off with strikes.
